ENOCH FOR MAC AND WINDOWS · SUPPORT
Help with Enoch.
Enoch for Windows — Coming Early 2027.
Enoch is made by one person in South Africa. Write to us and a human reads it — usually within three business days.
- [email protected]
- Reporting a bug
- Tell us what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. The macOS or Windows version and your Enoch version — in Enoch, choose Enoch → About Enoch on a Mac, or Help → About Enoch on Windows — help more than anything else.
- Requirements
- Mac: macOS 14.0 Sonoma or later, on an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or newer). Enoch does not run on Intel Macs. Windows (Coming Early 2027): Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64).
- Billing and refunds
- Bought through the Mac App Store? Apple handles billing and refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com, and subscriptions are cancelled in your Apple Account settings. Bought through the Microsoft Store? Microsoft handles billing and refunds, and subscriptions are cancelled at account.microsoft.com/services. We cannot do any of this on Apple's or Microsoft's behalf — but do tell us what went wrong.
Follow the tutorials for video walkthroughs, or download the User Manual.
Your scores are on your computer
Enoch saves to locations you choose and sends nothing anywhere, so we cannot recover a score for you — we have never had a copy of it. If you can still open the file, use File → Save As to make a second copy before experimenting. Time Machine on a Mac, or File History on Windows, is worth turning on.
If you send us a score to help reproduce a problem, we use it only for that and delete it afterwards. You never have to send one; a description is often enough.
If Enoch crashes
Enoch writes diagnostic reports to a folder on your own computer — inside Application Support on a Mac; on Windows, Help → Open Log Folder shows it. Nothing is transmitted. You are welcome to look at them, and to attach one to a support email — that is the only way one reaches us.
If you installed from the Mac App Store and have turned on Share with App Developers in macOS Settings, Apple separately sends us anonymised crash logs through App Store Connect. On Windows, the diagnostic data your Windows settings allow can include Enoch's crashes, which Microsoft summarises for us in Partner Center. Both are the platform's mechanism and yours to switch off.
Enoch Composer
Enoch Composer is an upgrade bought inside Enoch Play, through the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store: monthly, yearly or as a perpetual licence. Composer features are visible in Enoch Play, marked for Composer, so you can see where they live before you upgrade. Upgrading changes nothing you have written, and your scores stay open, editable, saveable and exportable on every tier — including if a subscription lapses. To restore a purchase on another computer, use Restore Purchases in the app's upgrade pane. A purchase belongs to the store it was made in, so the Mac and Windows versions are bought separately.
